The Mahlkönig EK43 grinder has 2 main burr sets for grinding coffee, the Standard/Original Burrs and the Turkish Burr set. Both sets are compatible with the EK43 as standard but it is recommended that when changing the burrs that the pre-breaker is also changed to be compatible with the burrs in use.
The difference between the 2 set is the grind size, to make traditional Turkish coffee the Turkish burrs are able to grind finer than original coffee burrs.
