Many people don't know the procedures for using their BWT water filters, below are a few codes of practice that BWT strongly advises when it comes to changing and using their products.
Any BWT cartridges that have been out of usage for longer than 2 days need to be flushed for 4-5 litres of water before usage.
If a cartridge is out of usage longer than 4 weeks it must be replaced for hygiene health and safety.
Filters need to be replaced at least every 12 months both to assure the hygiene quality but also the filters resin quality.
